Tasting Note: Cheongsam Tea Liqueur

I was delighted to find this tea liqueur from China. From the smokiness, seems like lapsang may have been the predominant tea used, and it makes a fantastic smoky cocktail. They have a website here, and it seems the bottles have gotten a new look. I'd love to try them all, if I can find more locally or online.

It also makes me wonder: why not try making my own homemade tea liqueur or tea bitters for my home bar? I have so much tea I've ordered from China and Japan, and surely they could be crafted into something lovely. Whether or not I have the skills do to so is another matter.
